Private Greece Tours specializes in private tours and private transportation needs. Although we have our own private clientele we have also been catering to the needs of most of the luxury hotels in Athens as, for example the Grande Bretagne with which we have been working for many years. We also offer our services to local and foreign businessmen who value the safety, punctuality, discretion and absolute confidentiality that we offer. I was the designated driver for the President of Samsung Company, Mr. Kun-Hee Lee, and his family for their visit during the 2004 Olympic Games, as Samsung was one of the golden sponsors of the Games. Of course Samsung, for security reasons, brought its own vehicles directly from Germany. (Mr. Lee is one of the richest people on earth according to Forbes Magazine) I was hand picked to be his personal driver and drove his bullet proof stretch Mercedes (Pullman) and his Maybach. Quite an experience! As a professional driver-guide myself I was able to carefully select the best professional driver-guides so as to form my group of drivers. We are all certified by the Greek authorities and well trained to drive you safely through the narrow streets of the Greek villages, of Athens’s old quarter (Plaka) and in the busy traffic of the city. You can relax and enjoy a safe ride through the beautiful winding Athens coastline, the highways and the countryside. All the Mercedes Benz minibuses and cars of our fleet are fully insured as well as certified and authorized to be hired for tours and transfers. My name is Nikos Loukas and I was born and raised in Athens. After finishing school and studies I worked for a few years in the best and most luxurious historical hotel in Athens, the Grande Bretagne. My experience in customer service, my keen interest and knowledge in history, mythology and ancient Greece, together with my desire to show to foreign visitors the best that my country has to offer, prompted me to start my own driving tour company, something I always desired. I am proud to say that from 1993 that I established Private Greece Tours in Athens, up to today, we have been constantly operating with great success. I am lucky to have by my side my wife, Anna Marina, actively involved in the company. She has been with me as my fiancée from the beginning of Private Greece Tours.
